Packaging industry is a huge industry which involves a lot of plastic for packaging,, wrapping and much more. When a manufacturer makes a product, the product is finally delivered to the end user which is us ” The People “. We buy a lot of products every day from the time we wake up till we goto sleep like milk covers, cereals, grains, chocolates to our super market visit and much more. We buy totally new plastic package from the seller and throw it in the DUMP after using it. We do play a role in the global pollution and its time for us to realize and make as much as maximum reuse we can do with the product.
This ring is made from the left over chocolate wrapper’s. Chocolate wrappers are folded, rolled and glued together to make this high fashioned sustainable fashion Ring.
Hope we all can come with more ideas. Do write to us at email@example.com or share us your upcycled image / photographs to showcase in website and Facebook ..
Plastics has become the most commonly used material in many packaging industries. Its widely used because of its light weight and cost factor. Plastics have become a part of our life and the more we make – the more we use it and the more we discard too. Manufacturers still refuse to avoid plastics and as an end user we buy them without the awareness that they are non-degradable and they harm the environment, oceans and much more.
As an end user we can still be a part of this Green Revolution by upcycling them or reusing them. One way to avoid plastic messing around the environment is by segregating them at our homes and hand it over to the recycling service providers or we can make pretty useful stuffs out of them. Here is a mobile pouch i made with them. Creativity and ideas are limitless and i am sure you all can come up with more interesting ideas with them. Do share your ideas with us by mailing your upcycled product with milk cover to firstname.lastname@example.org or share it with us in Facebook
Fabric Flower Jewellery which is made from waste left over fabric collected from Tailor shop. All these scraps come in different textures and we can do amazing creations with them. One such is the jewellery i made to match the Fish cut patiala pants i am wearing. I am a big time bohemian fan and i wanted to try something similar to that style. I started making this fabric flower to make headband and it ended up in Jewellery.
Styling : This fabric flower is light in shade which will go well with Dark shade top, in which the accessory will be projected. Choice of fish cut patiala was to match the flower again. When we talk about styling ” its not what we wear, how we carry the outfit”
